Abstract: The present article presents a brief study about my reception in relation to the dramaturgy and the staging of the play A Pior Banda do Mundo (The worst band of the world), by Cia. Dos Outros (São Paulo). Inspired on the homonym comic strips by the Portuguese artist José Carlos Fernandes, the work flirts with gestures and ways of operation from Surrealism (Visual Arts) and Fantastic Realism (Latin American Literature), when it betrays typical rules and conventions from realism and naturalism, using collage, miscellaneous and entanglement of verisimilar and non verisimilar elements, evoking in this way dialogs to out of the scope of Performing Arts.

Key words: Cia Dos Outros, collage, miscellaneous, staging and dramaturgy, Surrealism and Fantastic Realism.
