Resumo: O texto realiza uma análise da peça Nossa cidade, escrita pelo dramaturgo norte-americano Thornton Wilder e encenada pelo CPT/SESC e Grupo de Teatro Macunaíma, sob a direção de Antunes Filho. A perspectiva da análise aborda o pensamento a respeito do homem comum como agente da história. Procuramos apresentar alguns elementos fundamentais que compõem a encenação neste sentido.

Abstract: The article carries out an analysis of the play Our Town, written by American playwright Thornton Wilder and staged by the CPT / SESC and Grupo Teatro Macunaíma, directed by Antunes Filho. The perspective of the analysis covers the thought about the common man as an agent of history. We present some basic elements that make up the staging in this regard.
